DeepBlue Implementations
The level of implementation support depends on the condition and format of your existing data. Where a project also requires specialist operational expertise - such as developing a Planned Maintenance System, establishing an ISM framework, or configuring role-based access to financial data and defining the chart of accounts - this work remains under the direction of your team and, where required, an appointed specialist.

Choose the Right Implementation Route
Where your existing data can be prepared in DeepBlue's standard import templates, your team can manage the data preparation internally.
DeepBlue provides the required templates and import specifications. Once the completed data is provided in the required format, our team performs the technical import into the platform.
DeepBlue does not review, validate, correct or restructure the content under this implementation route. Responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of the submitted data remains with the client.

Not all operational data arrives in an import-ready format. Information may be spread across spreadsheets, exported from various other software platforms, or structured differently from the format required by DeepBlue.
Where your existing records cannot be supplied in DeepBlue's standard import format, our data specialists can process the available digital data and convert it into the structure required for import.
Once prepared, the data is reviewed by your team — or by the relevant operational specialist where appropriate — before DeepBlue completes the technical import.
The scope is assessed once the source data has been reviewed and is quoted separately.

Some implementations require more than moving existing data. A new build, new operation or major restructuring project may require specialist knowledge to define the operational structure and content that will ultimately sit within DeepBlue.
Where this level of operational expertise is required, the work may be carried out by your existing consultants or by an independent specialist. DeepBlue can also introduce experienced specialists familiar with the platform.

Depending on the scope, this could include:developing the equipment hierarchy, maintenance tasks and schedules, spare-parts structure, technical documentation and logbook framework.
developing inventory structures, categories, locations and stock-management methodology.
establishing or restructuring procedures, forms, responsibilities and the vessel's operational compliance framework.
defining accounting structures, Chart of Accounts, budgeting or reporting frameworks and associated financial processes.
operational manuals, contracts, certificates, procedures, GA, and other documentation can be uploaded and organized within DeepBlue.

Your crew or shore-based team can also enter and structure information directly within DeepBlue. This can be particularly suitable where the vessel already has the internal knowledge and resources required to build or review its operational database.
